C + P plant in Legnica, Poland celebrated its tenth anniversary
We celebrated the tenth anniversary of our site in Legnica/Poland with a big function for our specialist dealers. Legnica (formerly Lignica) is located about 100 kilometres behind Görlitz in Lower Silesia and is easy to get to via the A4 motorway constructed two years ago. Back in 2000, our Managing Director Uwe Hainbach visited the considered property in a special economic area together with the Polish representative and technical C + P officers. The inauguration of the new site took place less than two years later. Today more than 100 employees work in the Polish plant, which manufactures all its products in compliance with stringent German C + P quality guidelines, and whose team is fully integrated in the C + P family.
This impressive development was also commended by more than 60 Polish specialist dealers, some of whom had made a long journey to attend the anniversary celebration. After the reception and a tour of the plant, the participants were taken a few kilometres away to the beautiful castle Palac Wojanow in Jelenia Góra. This was the venue of the afternoon function for the specialist dealers and the celebration with music and dancing, which lasted till the early morning hours.
Following the main plant in Breidenbach and the subsidiary plant in Gotha, Legnica is the third site in the furnishing division of the C + P Group. In all three plants, more than 650 employees are committed to our joint success.
